Founded in 1963 by deceased New Zealander Bruce McLaren this team emerged as one of the most successful teams in F1 history. Especially the extremely victorious 80s seasons were vital for McLarens nowadays nimbus of a high developed and ambitious team with an aspiring and straight team spirit.
The drivers for the 2011 season are the same as last year and probably the fastest team mates since Senna/Prost. Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, both native Britains, will reach out for the world championship and put a hard fight on German Wunderkind Sebastian Vettel.
How much pressure will be needed to drive Vettel into mistakes? And will the team spirit at McLaren proceed throughout the season? I am sure that this year's fight for the title will be even more intense than last year's.
